• Substitute applicants may pick up and complete a substitute application at TCISD's Simpson Administration Building (located at 1401 Ninth Ave. North, Texas City, TX).

  • Background Check Consent Form – This consent form for a background and criminal history check must be submitted with substitute and auxiliary employee applications.
  • Substitute Application - This application must be submitted for substitute teacher/aide and cafeteria monitor employment (online applications are not accepted for substitute positions).

Volunteers and Classroom Observers for Field Experience: 
Volunteer Background Consent Form - This consent form for a background and criminal history check must be submitted to campuses annually by all district volunteers and classroom observers for field experience. This includes an English and Spanish version.
