Blocker Middle School
The new Blocker Middle School will be relocated to the former Texas City High School campus which is located at 1800 Ninth Avenue North.
- The new maintenance storage building has been erected and should be complete at the end of the month.
- The parking area behind E-Wing is complete.
- The HVAC system that once connected E-Wing to Simpson is now separate.
- Pier drilling for the new building has begun.
- The plumbing contractor is doing the underground work.
- Roofers are working on E-Wing.
- The main football practice field has been laid out and the initial grading is complete.
- Interior demolition started with the existing buildings.
