The Texas City ISD Fine Arts Department will broaden student’s horizons with the rich history and ethnic culture of various artistic genres. This will be accomplished by providing creative stimulation, personal enrichment, and cultural appreciation outside of the academic world and the traditional classroom setting. We will identify and nurture each individual’s artistic talents to the fullest and develop a strong sense of personal pride in the hearts and mind of all TCISD students.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Texas City ISD Fine Arts Department is to provide a curriculum that is aligned, assessed and performance-based in visual and performing arts. We want to maximize learning through performance and exhibition to promote the success of each student’s potential. We will develop a strong work ethic which will transfer to academics, athletics and career choices.
